So while they are still squishy they can actually hold their own in a fight.
#Thea: the awakening full#
Most times i tend to have the entire gatherer team in full armor and decent weaponry at short notice due to the sheer amount of resources i can gather. The gatherers fetch a ton of resources while the military keeps out enemies and scouts for more valuables. If there is little trouble and many resources around i tend to create multiple gathering parties and one military party. If there are many enemies i create one large party containing four gatherers and three combat units (Soldiers or hunters) to gather safely. Based on what i find around me my strategy varies. There are Strigas and Baba Yagas aplenty, but there are no heroes, no monster slayers, and no great armies capable of banishing them. At the start of the game i tend to have several expeditions scouting the nearby land for resources. Thea: The Awakening, with Return of the Giants DLC, is a turn-based strategic survival game steeped in Slavic myth and monstrosity set after an apocalyptic force known only as The Darkness has engulfed the world. The other villagers tend to stay in the village gathering food and fuel for my expedition, and most of the gear i have is won trough combat (And disassembled for resources if needed).Īs a gatherer i tend to have two to three people in the village (For crafting, food and fuel).

I would say a gatherer start can work just fine, but i do tend play a gatherer start differently from a warrior start.Īs a warrior i tend to send my 5 or so well-equiped warriors out in a single party that can pretty much withstand anything the game throws at you at the start - not taking into account unfortunate spawn locations.
